NozzleWorks, Inc Acquires Spratronics, Inc
Snohomish, WA (PRWEB) June 12, 2013
Nozzleworks, Inc. has acquired Spratronics, Inc., the single developer and manufacturer of variable orifice spray nozzles used for a variety of industrial and agricultural applications worldwide. The acquisition includes the patents for the variable o-nozzle that Fred Oligschlaeger, founder and owner of Spratronics, Inc., received for the innovative Spratronics nozzle design.
Sanjiv Vora, owner and founder of Nozzleworks Inc. says, “The patented Spratronics o-nozzle delivers significant cost savings over other nozzles on the market. By delivering constant stream pressure regardless of speed or application rate, customers can minimize overspray and pooling typically associated with other nozzles on the market, saving thousands of dollars in the cost of de-icing and other industrial or agricultural application cost.”
Spratronics customers include major spreader manufacturers worldwide; airports, which use the Spratronics nozzle for de-icing applications; state and local governments; and other industrial and agricultural clients.
